L’ancien capitaine des Blues de Chelsea a annoncé ce dimanche soir qu’il mettait un point final à sa carrière de footballeur professionnel. Une annonce à laquelle le monde du foot a réagi notamment l’ancien buteur de Chelsea, l’Ivoirien Didier Drogba.
Capitaine Terry dit stop à 37 ans après plus de 800 matchs en club et 78 sélections Anglaise en 23 années de carrière.
Une annonce qui a fait réagir son ami et ex-coéquipier avec qui il a remporté la Ligue des Champion en 2012, Didier Drogba.

Terry a passé toute sa carrière à Chelsea (1988-2017) avant de partir pour Aston Villa. Il a notamment été champion avec les Blues à cinq reprises (2005, 2006, 2010, 2015 et 2017).
